Ice Island
A Toronto cafe and lounge that wanted the site to feel like walking into the room, not like reading a menu online.
What we built
A scroll-driven world: the hero melts into an ice cave and out to open sky, all of it tied to the scroll position rather than played on a timer.
Frame sequences served as sprite atlases so the long transitions decode without stalling mid-scroll.
A loader that pre-buffers the opening shot, so the first thing a visitor sees is the finished frame.
Rebuilt twice for iOS Safari, which kills a tab long before desktop notices anything is wrong.
A family-led GTA real estate team that buys, builds, sells, and renovates. One team, four services, and a site that had to hold all of them without reading as a directory.

An Ontario personal injury lawyer who spent his early career on the insurers' side. His clients arrive in English and in Korean, often on the worst day of their year.
What we built
A fully bilingual site, English and Korean, with a language control in the header rather than buried in a footer.
Every page, post, and menu item linked across both languages so a visitor never lands in the wrong one.
A dark editorial design that carries weight without theatrics, given what people are arriving to read.
Served behind Cloudflare, with the caching rules set so a translated page is never handed to the wrong audience.
Photograph your food, your scale, or a nutrition label. Weighed reads it and does the arithmetic, so a food log takes one photo instead of a search and six taps.

A daily and weekly view of every nutrient tracked, with coaching lines written from the numbers.
A habit tracker you keep with friends. Streaks forgive a single miss, pods and challenges keep a group honest, and a weekly league resets every Monday.
