Privacy Policy
How Bloomify handles personal information on this website, in our apps, and when you work with us. Written in plain language, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Who we are
This website and the services described on it are operated by 14736605 Canada Inc., a federal Canadian corporation incorporated on February 3, 2023, operating as Bloomify. Our registered office is 414-219 Fort York Blvd, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 1B1, Canada.
For anything in this policy, write to info@bloomify.ca. A real person reads that inbox.
What we collect
Three things, and nothing else.
What you type into a form
- Contact form. Your name, your email address, and the message you write.
- Newsletter. Your email address, and the address of the page you subscribed from.
- Early access lists. Your name, your email address, and your website, if you give one.
Every form also carries a hidden field and a timestamp. Those exist to catch automated spam. They record nothing about you and are discarded with the submission.
What your browser sends
Our host and our security provider log the ordinary details every web server receives: your IP address, your browser and operating system, the page you asked for, and the time you asked for it. These logs keep the site up and block attacks.
What analytics measures
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and records a shortened version of your IP address. We do not use it to build advertising profiles and we do not sell what it collects. You can turn it off, and the Cookie Policy explains how.
We do not ask for payment details on this website. We do not collect health information, government identifiers, or precise location.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you when you write to us.
- To send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else.
- To tell you when a product you joined a list for is ready.
- To keep the site working, fast, and free of abuse.
- To understand which of our pages are useful.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Your consent
Canadian privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, is built on consent. When you send us a message or subscribe, you are consenting to us using that information for the purpose you gave it for. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did before you withdrew it.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for server logs.
Who else touches your data
We keep this list short, and here it is in full.
- Bluehost, part of Newfold Digital, hosts this website and stores form submissions. Its servers are in the United States.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a content network and firewall, and sees requests as they pass through.
- Google provides our email through Google Workspace and our measurement through Google Analytics.
We will also disclose information if Canadian law or a valid court order requires it. If that happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
Our apps
Bloomify builds and runs its own software as well as client websites. An app that handles your data has its own privacy policy, written for that app, linked from its store listing and available inside the app. This policy covers this website. Where the two differ, the app policy governs that app.
Some products shown on this site are operated by a different company. Where that is the case, the operator is named on that product site, and its policy applies rather than this one.
How long we keep it
- Messages you send us are kept while we are talking and for up to two years afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off.
- Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
- Server and security logs are kept for a short period by our host and security provider under their own schedules.
- Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set on the property.
Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in a database that is not publicly reachable, behind an account that requires a password. Access to the systems holding your data is limited to people who need it, which today is a very small number of people.
No website is perfectly secure and we are not going to claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information and creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and tell you, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it,
- stop using it, or
- send you a copy.
Email info@bloomify.ca and we will answer within 30 days, the period Canadian law allows. There is no charge.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. In the UK or the EEA, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
Where your data is stored
Our website and its database are hosted in the United States, and our email and analytics providers are United States companies. Your personal information is therefore stored outside Canada and can be reached by the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country. Canadian privacy law requires us to tell you this, and you should know it before you fill in a form.
Children
This website is meant for adults doing business with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will tell subscribers by email rather than relying on you to notice.
